In 2020, Coronavirus pandemic hit the world and India was not only struggling with healthcare facilities and medical equipment but was also simultaneously fighting the basic needs of survival.
Daily wage workers were unemployed, many left starved and most deprived of protective gears to fight the pandemic. Team Nitya Bajaj joined hands in donating fabric facemasks to the underprivileged and also supported it’s daily wage artisans by contributing the sales made during the pandemic to Saving the Artist initiative and generated funds and employment opportunities in association with the Ministry of Small and Medium enterprise.
Label Nitya Bajaj collaborated with Sparsh Charity in providing home cooked meals to the Covid affected patients and donated heal meals to the recovering patients with the meal drives and door-to-door meal service free of charge.
Not forgetting the voiceless, Nitya Bajaj supported the feeding drive with People for Animals, a Maneka Gandhi initiative and provided meals to stray dogs during the lockdown.
The brand has been successfully working towards encouraging eco-friendly changes in the organisation.
We encourage limited waste at Nitya Bajaj and support sustainability by using recycled packaging material, no plastic and upcycling scraps into facemasks, floor cushions and quilts.
We are proud of our social responsibility and believe in helping each other for a better future.
Gratitude to everyone associated and to the ones who shared our journey by donating and helping.
We feel blessed and encouraged.
