Nitya Bajaj is happy to be associated with The Corona Quilt Project.
‘Hope is a light in your heart’
These adverse times have taught us how to celebrate small moments. It has taught us to look at positivity in difficult times.
DaisybyNityaBajaj aims to spread happiness and sunshine, and what better could be the inspiration for our contribution to the Corona Quilt Project.
Nitya designed the perfect square, keeping the essence of Daisy, with Organdy cutwork flower in a centre enhanced with Pearl embellished heart around it.
Flower shaped laser cut sequins, Beads and Pearls, big and small encrusted our Square.
Our Karigar, Mohommad Sikandar Alam, aged 30 Years from Gaya, Bihar worked his magic exclusively for this project.
He added his elements of overlapping sequins and Beadwork. Sharing his experience, ‘I am glad to show my talent to the world through this platform, and I hope work goes back to how it was before as I see alot of my fellow Karigars jobless.’ Says Sikandar.
With respect to the magical hands of our artisans, we are glad to be a part of this noble project in an aim to spread happiness.
We take this opportunity to thank the team at
The Corona Quilt Project and Anaita Shroff Adjania, Vogue India for inspiring us and giving us this opportunity to connect to people across the world and making us a part of this truly enriching global experience.
