Nitya Bajaj, known for its luxury womenswear is invited to design for the contestants of Femina Style Diva 2015.
Sixteen hand-picked young spirited girls from North India sashayed down the ramp at The Westin, Gurgaon, showcasing their individual sense of style and attitude during the Amway Femina Style Diva North 2014-15.
Hida Siddiqui was declared the winner, while Kanika Kapoor and Meenakshi Choudhary were the first and second runners-up respectively.
The nearly three-hour-long show, was hosted by noted VJ and IPL commentator Archana Vijay, and adjudicated by an eight-member panel of judges. The panel included fashion icon, actor and producer Malaika Arora Khan, South Indian superstar Tamannaah Bhatia, Femina Managing Editor Kermin Bhot, entrepreneur and socialite Ramola Bachchan, Model Tina Chatwal, Designers Payal Jain and Anupama Dayal, and the General Manager of The Westin, Sanjeev Sharma.
The aim of the event was for a “woman who owns style, and could make fashion experts sit up and take notice”.
The models sashayed down the ramp flaunting glamorous colorful cocktail gowns from fashion designer Nitya Bajaj’s collection, followed by a fashion-related question and answer round choreographed by Achala Sachdev.
